Here are samples of some of the musical answering machine messages I recorded in my "home studio", many of which are adapted from popular songs. The song messages are mostly either a cappella (ie. comprising human voices only) or songs with a high harmony content, as I love harmony!

Too many answering machine messages to choose from? Here are some suggestions:

• If you're female, and wish to use messages with a female voice, then I'm afraid there's only Wannabe so far.
  (BTW, If any of you can do a good Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera imitation, then there are tons of cool stuff we can do - let me know!!)
  
  
• If you stay with others and want the message to refer to "us", "we" etc. and not "I" or "me", then the following would all work: Just The Two Of Us, The Lion Sleeps Tonight, Short People, Silent Night, Uhh Ahh, The Way It Makes Me Feel.
  
  
• If you're particularly into a capella/harmony (like myself), then I'd go for Man In The Mirror, Ya Gotta Be, Get Away Jordan (version #1 and version #2), Can't Take That Away From Me, How Long Has This Been Going On, and My Girl.
  
  
• If you're looking for something short, then you could firstly try Heartbreak Hotel, If We Really, Wannabe, or As Long As You Love Me. If you want something even shorter still, then I'd choose Get Away Jordan (version #2), or Uhh Ahh.
